Technology base and application:

Supersonic arc spraying is a new technology developed from normal arc spraying technology. Compared with normal arc spraying ,it has more excellent performance, and recently has been applied widely  in fields such as machinery, chemical, electricity generating, metallurgy and especially has excellent performance in solving the wearing and corrosion problems of boiler tube of electricity generating plant. Hence it brings safety and stable operation, low cost,more profit  to those power generating plants.

Principle:

Supersonic arc spray machine sends two spraying metal wires to the two electric mouths of spray gun, and the electric mouths link to the high-current and low-voltage two electrodes. When the two metal wires contact with each other, there will be a short circuit which can make an arc, and the metal wire would be melted by the 5000℃ heat which is  produced by the arc. Then the melted wire would be pulverized to micro particles by high-velocity compressed air.These micro particles then are sprayed on the surface of workpiece by the compressed air with a supersonic speed (above 400m/s) to make a coating. Compared with normal arc spray coating ,the supersonic spray coating has smaller and compact micro structure, and stronger adhesive force.

SX-1000 supersonic arc spray machine is developed on the basis of SX-600 arc spray machine. It adopts Laval acceleration tube in the spray gun and when the compressed air get through Laval tube the airflow speed will be accelerated markedly.

Composition:

The newly developed supersonic arc spray machine consists of power supply, supersonic arc spray gun,control system and compressed air system. We develop this precise equipment to make sure that it can work stably and effectively.

1. Intelligent,Stable and convenient

This equipment is improved in the operation program by integrated circuit to prevent from machine damage by misoperation of workers, so as to protect the safety of operators and the equipment,and you can set the parameter on the touch screen. It can spray a long distance from the equipment by tele-operating switch. Also the equipment has steady output voltage and currency, has good capacity of anti-interference and is sensitive against regulating so that the coating can be even and the oxidization burning loses little, that will  prolong its use time  in bad environment.

2. High adhesive force of coating

Compared with  30-40Mpa of common arc’s  coating,the adhesive force of coating can reach 70Mpa The wire is well atomized into tiny particles and then the particles are sprayed with a high speed to make a good and fine coating which has the

porosity less than 0.5%. By this way the wear-resistant and anti-corrosive ability of coating is improved markedly.

3. Workpiece won’t be deformed and its structure won’t be changed.

Generally the rised temperature of workpiece won't exceed 100 ℃ when spraying, so the workpiece won't be deformed. And the spraying heat won't take effect directly on the surface so it doesn’t  change the structure of workpiece.

4. High efficiency and wide application

The equipment has high spray efficient and high power; It's suitable for on-site construction, and can use all kinds of metal and metal ceramic materials(solid and without core), such as alloy wires, Mo, Al, Zn, red copper, copper alloy, Babbitt etc. It is widely applied in spraying anti-wearing and anti-rust coatings for boiler’s  four kinds of tubes, coal pulverizing system (fan impeller and scroll casing), roller, dryer, axis, mould,all kinds of workpieces and  so on.

5. spray gun for long distance

the spray gun can be equipped with 30-meter-long cable, air tube and 8-core control cable, so it can spray at remote places about 30 meters from the equipment. There are two ways of feeding spray wires, pull and push.

6. unnecessary to change the wearing parts frequently

We have patent conductive nozzle which is anti-wearing and greatly enlarges use time of wearing parts. This helps to reduce the spraying cost and improve working’s efficiency and coating’s quality.

7. Convenient maintainance and repair

We take maintainance and repair work into our consideration during designing the equipment and spray gun which make it convenient to maintain and repair.
